Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

This policy explains how MS Alpha Capital ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website and in the course of providing our services. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need, and we collect it in two ways.

Information you give us directly:

  • Your name, email address and phone number when you submit the contact form or book a consultation.
  • The content of your message and the topic you select.
  • Information you share during onboarding, identity and address documents, bank details, income and investment information, where required by KYC regulations.

Information collected automatically:

  • Your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded in standard server logs.
  • The time of submission and browser user-agent when you send the contact form, retained as an anti-abuse measure.

We do not ask for passwords, PINs, OTPs, full card numbers or trading credentials through this website, and you should never send them to us. Any email appearing to come from us and asking for these is fraudulent.

2. Calculators and tools

The financial calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and are not stored on our servers. If you use the "copy link" feature on a calculator, your inputs are encoded into the URL itself, which means anyone you share that link with can see them.

3. How we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
  • To provide the distribution and execution services you engage us for.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including KYC, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping requirements.
  • To protect the website against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you sent us a contact form.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary:

  • Asset management companies and registrars (such as CAMS and KFintech) to process mutual fund transactions in your name.
  • The SEBI-registered broker we act as an authorised person for, to open and operate your trading and demat account.
  • Service providers who host this website or handle scheduling, bound by their own confidentiality obligations.
  • Regulators, tax authorities and courts where we are legally required to disclose.

5. Third-party embeds

Some pages load content from third parties, and those parties may set cookies or record your IP address under their own privacy policies:

  • TradingView, market data widgets.
  • Google Maps, the office location map.
  • Calendly, consultation scheduling.

We do not control these services and we do not receive your data from them.

Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a third-party font service, so viewing this site does not disclose your visit to a font provider.

6. How long we keep it

Contact form enquiries that do not become client relationships are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client records are retained for the period required by SEBI, AMFI and prevention-of-money-laundering rules, generally at least eight years after the relationship ends. Server logs are retained for a short operational period.

7. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Access to client information is limited to those who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
  • erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave, where processing relies on consent;
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.

Write to help@msalphacapital.com and we will respond within 30 days. Some data must be retained regardless of an erasure request where a regulator requires it; if that applies we will tell you which rule obliges us.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Where an investment is made for a minor, we deal with the guardian.

10. Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top.
